Question: Bocce ball in the summer olympics?

I love bocce do to the fact I am 100% Italian but i had heard rumors of it being in the summer olympics does anybody have any info about this if so please say the web page or where ever you got it from thanks!

Boules is recognised as a sport by the IOC, but is not a part of the Olympics. The closest there is is boccia, a disabled sport in the Paralympics.
