Question: I have a question about bocce ball....what happens when a ball hits another ball?

I can't find an explanation anywhere of what you did if you throw the ball and it hits someone else's ball. Do you put the first ball back in its original place or do you leave it where it lies? Please help! We are going to have lunch and play bocce for secretary's day in my office.

No rule against that, be careful you could hit their ball closer. I think that you may be thing of croquet.

I've always left both wherever they end up--part of the disadvantage of winning and going first. I don't know the official rules though.

When, It you turn you have to put the ball back where it is . On your turn, you have to roll your ball ahead of the other person's in order to win, but make sure you don't knock into the other ball then your turn is over.
