Question: Bocce ball in pleasanton, san ramon, walnut creek area?

I am in my mid 30's and heard from a friend in the south bay that they are playing Bocce ball. Further, that it is a fun social outing/event. I am interested in finding out about events in my area. I have never played and am interested in this as a social activity. Any thoughts?
